The Task Moonlight poured into a large office through multiple windows lining one wall, the silvery rays mingling and being overpowered by the soft golden light of a desk lamp. Sitting behind this desk was a tall, pale man, who was poring over a memo lying on the desktop. His crimson eyes stared at the sheet of paper before him, his strong-featured face emotionless and unreadable. He reached a long, nimble hand out and grabbed the paper, his free hand brushing his coal hair out of his eyes as he read the single line on the page once more. Midnight. Preview of a Story-Suppression I read over my journals, looking over and over again for some sign of what I had done. Several of them seem to have been altered at some point, whether by me or another I do not know. He brushed at his white hair with a feeling of disdain, then grabbed his long coat from the throne's arm. He slipped it on over his black torso piece, then began to move toward the door. Before he had made it halfway across the hall, however, he dropped to his knees as pain shot through every inch of his body. He groaned, writhing oddly and trying to prevent himself from screaming. "What is this?!" hLines of Fate
