Warring Brothers     Johnnie lunged at Reaper, but was quickly thrown back by the invisible barrier. Amanda stood stunned.       "Brother? You're... brothers?"       Johnnie recovered his feet, "Yes. Unfortunately, this scum shares my blood."       "Scum?" Reaper said, hands in his pockets, "I'm offended."       "Save it. Why did you open the gate?" The Reaper     "Johnnie?" a scientist asked, before he was smashed across the face with a chair.       Johnnie and Amanda were tearing wildly through the lab. People leapt at them from every direction, only to find themselves on the floor, under the feet of a degenerating mob. Close Your EyesI would choose the passenger’s seat over the driver’s any day.  You can lean out the open window and feel the breeze.  If the car is going fast enough, you can see the layers of clouds move.  You can follow the line of the electric wires.  Then the moon peeks out and surprises you.   
Reach to the sky and feel your arm become cold.  Feel your face chill, but do not care.   
Close your eyes.   
Now you can feel everything.  The wind smashing against your skin.  Hair hitting your forehead and cheeks.  The viscosity of the air.

Novel Progress: Update 1

Journal Entry: Thu Feb 28, 2008, 9:04 PM
Here, I will post updates about my novel in progress. It is a rewrite of the same story told by the other two chapters I posted, but told from a different focal point. I am currently almost done with Chapter 4, and will post the first two chapters when I get motivated to type them. Keep an eye out.
